2 cups rice, washed
½ cup peas
1 carrot, cut into small pieces
1 green onion, finely minced
½ cup corn
4 cups water
½ tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vegetables oil
- Put the rice in a pot over heat with the cups of water. Add salt and leave over low heat for about 15 minutes until the rice be cooked.
- Heat the oil in a pot over heat then add the onions, corn, carrot and peas. Stir the ingredients for 10 minutes.
- Add the rice to the pot and stir the ingredients well for another five minutes.
- You can add mushrooms and nuts to the recipe also.
- Serve this rice dish with chicken breasts with parmesan cheese or with the delicious potato kofta.
