When it comes to furniture, the bed size should be in proportion with room size. No compromise on quality of bed. Teenagers rough it. Table lamp always adds a unique touch to the room atmosphere. Size should be medium or small with bright and dim light options. A fuzzy rug with bold colors spices up the bedroom. If you are living in a warm state then avoid wall to wall carpeting. Bare floors help keep room temperature low and comfortable. In cold states, carpeting keeps the bedroom warm and cozy.  Study table should have room for computer, mementos, trophies, books, pens, pencils and a jewelry holder for girls. Stuffed animals and dolls from childhood are a girl’s good companions in the bedroom. Boys go for sports items and pin ups. A bulletin board is a helpful item. It protects your walls from excessive nail hammering and graffiti which can devalue your home. Lastly, music instruments and electronic gadgets should be placed near the bed but around corners. Avoid keeping unnecessary things on the floor, this helps keep the room neat and clean and also saves you from tripping over and banging into items. The bedroom should be clutter free.
