Dessert Recipes with Semolina
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ Cups fine semolina
- ½ Cup flour
- 1 ½ Tbs baking powder
- ½ Cup coconut flakes
- 1 Cup melted butter
- 1 Tsp orange blossom water
- 4 OZ yogurt, or 1 cup of yogurt
- 4 OZ sugar, or 8 tablespoons

Optional:
Raisins- about 30 poached almonds or nuts.
Lebanese Syrup Recipe
- 1 ½ Cups sugar
- 1 Cup water
- 1 Tsp rose water

Steps:
- Pour semolina in a big bowl
- Add sugar & baking powder
- Add flour, coconut flakes, orange blossom water, butter, and yogurt
- Mix with your hand
- You can add a little bit of milk if that necessary
- Let rest 30 min
- Grease and flour a baking dish
- Pour the batter into it
- Spread the batter
- Make a design with a knife
- Decorate with almonds
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350° f for 30-45 min
- Mix sugar and water together, bring to boil, and simmer 5 minutes, then add rose water
