Grilled Chicken on a Charcoal Grill Recipe

One chicken

Salt, to taste

Tablespoon vinegar

Lemon juice ¼ cup

Black pepper to taste

Teaspoon garlic powder

Teaspoon onion powder

Chopped green pepper

Teaspoon ground chili powder

Teaspoon mustard

Teaspoon nutmeg

Tablespoon thyme

Tablespoon rosemary

Teaspoon paprika powder

One cup of yogurt



Wash the chicken with salt and vinegar well, then cut it so that we separate the wings, the breast and the chicken thighs


In a deep bowl, put onions, garlic, salt, black pepper with the rest of the spices, and a cup of yogurt and mix well


Add the mixture to the chicken pieces and leave it for at least two hours in the refrigerator. It is preferable to leave the chicken in the marinade for 12 hours in the refrigerator


We start grilling the chicken on the charcoal grill, and put the chicken marinade aside, and flip the chicken pieces from time to time, and use a food brush, or spoon to sprinkle the remaining chicken marinade on the chicken pieces during grilling, and serve with French fries, or rice. There are different types of salads that can be served alongside grilled chicken such as: Tahini salad, grilled eggplant salad, and green salad
