Indian Tasty Paapri Chaat Recipe

Indian Papdi Chaat Recipe - Indian Cuisine

Paapri Chaat or Papdi Chaat is famous Pakistani fast food and north Indian. Paapri chaat, is used to fast food dishes, arrange of snacks. Paapri Chaat is made from oil and refined white flour and. Paapri Chaat : Is served with boiled chick peas, boiled potatoes, yogurt, chilis, tamarind chutney, and topped with some chaat masala.

Paapri Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of maida
  • 40 grams of oil
  • 1 Tablespoon ajwain
  • For deep frying use oil
  • salt for tasting

Ingredient for Khatti Chutney:

  • One cup coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup from pudina leaves
  • one green chili
  • 20 gram of ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black rock salt
  • add salt for tasting
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala. Mix with black cardamom, nutmeg, mace, zeera and laung.
  • 1 lemon juice

Ingredient for Meethi Chutney:

  • 200 gram tamarind pulp need to be soaked in one and half cup of water
  • 800 gram of sugar
  • 3teaspoons kachri powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of saunth powder
  • 1teaspoon of degi mirch
  • add salt for tasting
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black rock salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala mix with black cardamom. Nutmeg, laung, mace and zeera

Ingredients for Dahi:

Ingredients for Chaat Masala:

  • 2 teaspoons of peeli mirch
  • 1 teaspoon of kali mirch
  • 2 teaspoons of zeera powder
  • 2 teaspoons of garam masala

Garnish Ingredients:

Seeds from Pomegranate

Method for The Paapri:

In a bowl you need to mix salt maida and ajwain.
Then you need to put oil and after that knead oil with flour.
Out of the dough and make small balls. Then you need to roll them in size about 4-5 cm.
You need to deep in fry these till they get golden brown color.

Method for The Meethi Chutney:

The tamarind pulp you need to soak in water for 25-30 minutes. Then squeeze them with hand to extract all pulp. In the strainer, you need to thrown away the residue.
In a saucepan add some tamarind water, and then put sugar. Cook them on low heat till the sugar dissolved. Let them cool.
Add kachri powder, black salt, degi mirch, saunth powder, salt, and garam masala.
Your meethi chutney is done now.

Method for The Dahi:

With some powdered sugar whisk yogurt. They need to be cool so you need to keep  in the fridge.

Method For The Chaat Masala:

Mix them together, all the ingredients.

Method Plating up:

In a plate you can put bhallas. In the middle you need to break them a little.

Add some khatti chutney, sweetened curd, meethi chutney.

Garnish them with pomegrante

Sprinkle chaat masala.
