How to make peach jam at home
1 Kilo of peaches.
1 Kilo of sugar.
4 Tablespoons of water.
2 Tablespoons of lemon juice.
- Wash the peaches and cut them into cubes of medium size, and in a deep pot on the stove, put the sugar with the water and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the peaches and stir until it boils, then reduce the heat of the heat and stir the jam, taking care to remove the foam when it forms.
- Leave the jam on the fire for about an hour, or until the liquid becomes thick without covering the pot, test the thickness of the jam by taking a large spoonful of jam and putting it in a plate, then putting it in the refrigerator to cool down and watching whether it has reached the desired thickness or not.
- Add lemon juice and leave the jam to boil for 20 minutes, then leave the jam to cool completely, and store it in clean and completely dry jars and put it in the refrigerator.
