Ingredients
One kilo of peeled shrimp
One teaspoon ground cumin
Half a teaspoon of ground coriander
4 cloves garlic minced
Tablespoon vegetable oil
Medium onion, chopped
1 cup chopped squash
Two cups of chopped vegetables such as broccoli, carrots, bell pepper
Salt and black pepper
¼ teaspoon ground chili powder, optional
Two cups of water
Method
- Wash the peeled shrimp and put it in a large strainer
- Get a deep cooking pot, and put it on a medium heat, then add the chopped onions and mashed garlic and stir well.
- Put the shrimp in the pot with onions and garlic and stir for two minutes, then add two cups of water with the rest of the ingredients, leave on the fire for 15 minutes, or until we make sure all the vegetables are cooked and serve hot with Sayadieh rice.
