DIY Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe
The Ingredients
-One and half of cups of granulated sugar.
-One and half cups of all-purpose flour.
– Three quarters of tsp baking powder.
-Three quarters of tsp salt.
-Three quarter of cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.
-Two large eggs.
– One and half of tsp baking soda.
-Three quarters of cup buttermilk.
– Three quarter of cups of warm water.
– One tsp vanilla extract.
– One quarter of cup of vegetable oil.
Chocolate Buttercream
-Third quarter cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.
– One tsp vanilla extract.
– One and half cups butter softened.
– Three or four cups of powdered sugar.
How to Make Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe
Directions
Note that recipe makes 24 cupcakes as a result you may have to cook it in batches unless you have two muffin tins.
- Heat the oven into 320 degree and line a muffin tin to the cupcake liners.
- Slowly mix sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda, flour, and coca until you get a well-combined mixture.
- Add buttermilk, eggs, oil, warm water, and vanilla.
- Mix them slowly in few minutes until it becomes smooth and soft.
- Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to make sure everything got mixed in well.
- Fill each cupcake in two third full not completely.
- In the oven, bake it for 23 minutes till the cupcake meet the toothpick test (please check the note below).
- Empty from tins and let them cool totally.
- In a big bowl make the frosting.
- Mix butter till fluffy using a hand mixer.
- Add vanilla and cocoa powder, then beat until being well-combined.
- Mix powdered sugar, one cup at a time and mixing between.
- Put the frosting to a piping bag and then pipe into a complete cooled cupcakes.
Note:
Use toothpick test stick to be sure the cupcakes are finished, when a toothpick in and it comes out clean.
