Qurabiya is a kind of biscuits made from different kinds of almonds, pistachio, or coconut. It is one of the well know desserts that being served in feasts, and birthdays.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Servings: 6 persons
1 cup ghee
½ cup sugar
2 cups multipurpose flour
Almond, boiled and peeled for garnish, or pistachio, or coconut, or jam.
- Soften the ghee well.
- Add sugar to the ghee, and beat well until it becomes like crème.
- Add flour gradually until it becomes soft dough.
- Form the dough into balls and place in a tray and press slightly over each piece with your finger.
- Add half an almond over each Qurabiya, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
