500 g Egyptian rice
500 ml hot water
5 tbsp. vegetable oil
½ cup vermicelli
¾ tsp. salt
Preparation:
- In a pot over heat, heat the oil then add vermicelli, and stir until it becomes golden. Add the rice, and stir for 5 minutes over low heat.
- Add salt and stir well then add hot water. When it absorbs the water, cover it and leave to continue being cooked.
- Serve hot!
