How to make pickled cauliflower
One head of cauliflower, washed and sliced
3 hot peppers, chopped (to taste)
3 liters of water
Half a cup of salt
Quarter cup of lemon juice
A quarter cup of peeled garlic
A quarter cup of white vinegar
One tablespoon of paprika
Celery washed and chopped
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
3 Bay laurel leaves
A quarter of a teaspoon of black cumin (Nigella sativa).
1- Mix salt with water, then add garlic, vinegar, paprika, black pepper, chopped celery, lemon juice, bay leaves and black cumin.
2- Add the cauliflower and pepper to the water and salt mixture in a clean, airtight jar.
3- Leave for about 5 days or until ready to eat.
