– 2 cups of roasted hazelnuts
– 1 cup of powdered sugar
– 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 -cup of dairy milk or a non-dairy milk alternative
1/4 -cup of vegetable oil


1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the hazelnuts in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast them in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the skins start to blister.

2. Once roasted, transfer the hazelnuts to a clean kitchen towel and rub them to remove as much of the skins as possible. It’s okay if some skin remains.

3. In a food processor, blend the hazelnuts until they form a smooth and creamy paste. This might take a few minutes, so be patient!

4. Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt to the hazelnut paste. Blend until the mixture is thoroughly incorporated.

5. With the food processor running, gradually pour in the milk and vegetable oil. Mix until the combination achieves a velvety and creamy texture.

6. Your homemade Nutella is now ready! Transfer it to a clean and airtight jar for storage.
