How to make sardines with tahini and lemon
Half a cup of chopped onions
One kilo of fresh sardines fish
A quarter cup of olive oil
One green pepper, sliced
One teaspoon ground cumin
4 Tablespoons chopped garlic
¼ Teaspoon fresh ginger
¼ Cup of lemon juice.
Half a cup of flour.
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Chili (to taste)
¼ Teaspoon ground coriander
Half a cup of tahini
- Remove the sardine backbone from the middle, then wash them with water, flour and lemon juice.
- Grease the oven tray with olive oil. Then add the chopped onion, then add the sardines, green pepper, garlic and ginger.
- Bring the electric mixer, then put lemon juice, tahini, a pinch of cumin, black pepper, ground coriander, chili and olive oil with half a cup of water, salt and mix.
- Put the mixture over the sardines and vegetables, then cover the tray with the foil, and put it in the oven for 40 to 50 minutes to get thick tahini, and be sure the fish is cooking well , then remove the foil, and put it in the oven for 15 minutes until it turns golden and serve hot with rice.
